Ave K / E5 - E2 Streets

Finished off some outstanding streets in Midwood.

The first image is East 16th Street because there actually was one block that I hadn't done with all the moving around I'd been doing. Turning right, I covered the rest of Ave K all the way to Ocean Parkway and the cemetery. Down to Ave J to cover the streets between Elmwood Ave and the cemetery. There are a few dead end streets.

There is a flag and a memorial stone on a little triangle piece of land (a gore, actually) where Ave J and Bay Parkway meet at East 5th Street.

The stone says, "The Parkville Community pays homage to those of its neighbors who served in the armed forces in defense of our country."

FYI, I added "Parkville" as a label for the blog.

This final picture, I think, is an alley between E2 and E3 streets running behind the buildings with fronts on Elmwood Ave. I guess I was considering going down, but from the look of it, I just "noped" and went back to Elmwood, which I'd traveled before.

And that's it for this trip. Come back soon.

All of the above photos and videos, unless otherwise stated, were taken by Christopher J. Burke and are subject to copyright.

MY NEWEST BOOK IS AVAILABLE NOW!

Burke's Lore Briefs: Yesterday's Villains, the following to Tomorrow's Heroes is now available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.

If Heroes who don't die live long enough to become the villain, what happens to Villains who live long enough? When do schemes of global conquest become dreams of a quiet place away from all those annoying people you once wanted to subjugate? And does anyone really want to rule over the world's ashes if it means we can't have nice things?

My older books include three more books in my Burke's Lore Briefs series, and the anthologies A Bucket Full of Moonlight and In A Flash 2020.

Vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, used-car salesmen, fairies, superheroes, space and time travel, and little gray aliens talking to rock creatures and living plants.

Plus pirates, spies, horror, and kindergarten noir!

If you enjoy my books, please consider leaving a rating or review on Amazon or on Good Reads. Thank you!
