Walkin' In Brooklyn

More streets in Greenpoint to cross out my list, and then I walked to Bedford Ave in Williamsburg to catch the L train, allowing me to get a tiny half block that I missed along the way thanks to poor planning! Note to self: never confuse Newel and Jewel in the future, as I once did in the past. The G took me to Greenpoint Ave. I walked down Manhattan Ave to Norman Ave just to get to the first new street that I needed to walk. The first three blocks were Newel, Diamond (which I did a 180 turn and walked back down), and Jewel, between Normal and Nassau Aves. This brought me to when Moultrie merges with Humboldt St. You can see the artwork on the building in the first photo. I took a closer picture after that. There are more streets in Greenpoint that I need to cross off my list (or color in on my map), so I took a ride there after work. It's amazing how long it took to get somewhere that was basically four stops (on two different trains) away. Since I was basically still near work, I couldn't take too much time because I had the entire trip home to make. I've walked past St. Anthony of Padua – St. Alphonsus Parish before. I still haven't stopped in, but I didn't really have time to do it now, either. Once I'm on Calyer, I took that all the way to the end at Russell Street. There was a clock on a corner worth a picture. I'm honestly not sure where the next picture is. I can't match it up on Google Maps. I turned left and took Russell street to Greenpoint Ave and then did a 180 and walked Russell down to Nornam.
