Walkin' In Brooklyn

Heading down East New York Ave ... on purpose. A pretty straightforward walk, mainly down two streets. ... And a little plug for A Bucket Full of Moonlight I've covered part of East New York Ave before, but the L train was still the best place to start the trip. I have no idea what that building is (Google Maps doesn't label it) but it belongs to the NYPD. The razor on top of the walls caught my attention. The third photo is the 3 train emerging from Utica Ave on its way to Livonia. I can't find this playground on the map, but it must be somewhere between the train and where Empire Blvd splits off from East New York Ave. A block later at Utica Avenue, East New York Ave splits for a block as well. I stood at the corner of East New York Ave and East New York Ave, as mentioned in the video above. Why I didn't take a screenshot then, I don't know. Luckily, Map My Walk keeps a record of your routes, but that's looks different from the others because I just downloaded this map to make this blog post. Another street in Crown Heights that I got to by taking the L train to Atlantic Ave. Soon I'll have to venture farther south. I was surprised how many pictures I took considering that I walked mostly a single street, and the other streets I was on, I'd walked before. I started at Atlantic Ave and walked down East New York Avenue, but I had to make a detour. I took Pacific Street two blocks to Mother Gaston. I had three blocks between Eastern Parkway and East New York Avenues to fill in. That brough me to the begining of St. Mark's Place. One block brought me back to Eastern Parkway.
