East New York Ave / Empire Blvd
Heading down East New York Ave ... on purpose. A pretty straightforward walk, mainly down two streets. ... And a little plug for A Bucket Full of Moonlight I've covered part of East New York Ave before, but the L train was still the best place to start the trip. I have no idea what that building is (Google Maps doesn't label it) but it belongs to the NYPD. The razor on top of the walls caught my attention. The third photo is the 3 train emerging from Utica Ave on its way to Livonia. I can't find this playground on the map, but it must be somewhere between the train and where Empire Blvd splits off from East New York Ave. A block later at Utica Avenue, East New York Ave splits for a block as well. I stood at the corner of East New York Ave and East New York Ave, as mentioned in the video above.
