S9 -S11 Streets / Kent Ave

This was an early-morning, before work walk. Thanks to Regents exams, I didn't need to be in school until around 8:30 am, and I didn't need to make any photocopies or ready any lesson plans, my usual period zero rituals. However, I had to keep close to school just in case something went wrong or if my walk took longer than I expected. As it was, I think I'd planned to walk to work when I was done, but I instead made my way to the Bedford L station. One thing that stood out from this walk was the number of playgrounds in the area, both city-owned and private. It's a good place for kids -- if the parents can afford to have kids there. Cohn Triangle, formally known as Harold W. Cohn Memorial Square, is a 0.07-acre fenced, tree-lined green space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, located at Bedford and Division Avenues.
