Spring Creek / East New York

This was a "Two-fer" walk. I had a few blocks to finish off in Spring Creek, near the Gateway Mall at Erskine Street. After this, I moved my car across Flatlands Ave so I could walk a loop from Flatlands to New Lots Ave. Years ago, I worked at Spring Creek High Shcool, so I've made the walk from the school to the 3 train a number of times. (Honestly, though, I drove for most of my time there because the parking situation wasn't too bad.)

The first 8 pictures are from Schroeder Ave and Vandalia Ave with some of the side streets, along with a piece of Gateway Drive. I walked through the Dog Park just because it was there.

After I moved the car, finding a spot on Stanley Ave, I made a loop around Elton St, up to New Lots Ave, over to Cleveland St, down to Flatlands Ave, and back up Elton to my car. Other than walking next to the elevated train, it's a nice area. That said, I know that it's a little more industrial a few blocks over, so my next walk around there might feature more trucks.

And that's it until next time. Except for the usual schpiel about my books:
