E68 - E73 Sts and Ave T

There were some hot days in early May and that means one thing: POOL STORE. And the only pool store left in my half of Brooklyn (perhaps all of Brooklyn) is in Bergen Beach at the end of Ave N, which is somehow only a block away from Ave T. (This isn't that odd -- in Bay Ridge 7th Ave and 10th Ave aren't more than 50 feet apart when they end at 86th St.)

I actually spent a good part of the morning in Georgetown because of a recycling event. Unfortunately, the truck was late, and then everything was disorgranized. Otherwise, I might've worked around there to the pool store. Instead, I drove to the store, parked around the corner and filled in more of the Bergen Beach section of the map. There are a couple of streets that are gated at both ends. Sometimes one end was open, but if I thought I was going to have to double back when I got to the other side, I skipped it. (And the signs told, not asked, visitors to go straight to the house of the person that they are visiting. No thank you.)

I have to move down into Mill Basin.

The walk started down Veterans Ave toward Hickman Playground and then turned up E68 Street to Ave N and back down E69 Street toward Ave T.

There's a weird little island at Ave T because of the confluence Avenue T with Veterans Ave and E69.

Next up was E70 Street and a peculiarly decorated tree:

E71 went back to Veterans Ave, but E72 St only went one back to Ave T. Then I had to scoot over a block to E73 St where I turned left and walked to Bergen Cove and then Royce St.

Finally, I returned back along Ave T back toward the Pool Store and the Ice Cream parlor.
